Growing your Library
In an increasingly digital world it is vital that we do not forget the importance of the written word. This includes information books, reading for pleasure, magazines, papers as well as the ranges of specialist materials available to schools. I offer a series of services which will help you:
arrange and keep control of resources
design and project manage the development of a new library
audit your stock in the library and in the classroom
list subjects and choose new stock with staff
train staff in understanding and running a library
training on using library software
cataloguing and classifying materials for inclusion on software system
provide book sessions for class groups

Advisory Service
The main purpose of this service is to provide support and advice to schools, both Secondary and Primary, so that they provide the best possible library experience for their students.
Some of the services include
Annual stock check for library and school
cataloguing and classifying stock within the school
half or full day advisory visit to look at ways to start/improve your service
support library staff in their professional development
Working with SEN and Reading recovery staff to identify resources
